I am writing this review, coz this bag & the designer deserves some attention.The bag has been designed really well. It’s a full length backpack, yet so easy to pack up in a small pouch.Coming to the part that’s most important.The bag in which this can be packed into, is a PART OF THE BAG ITSELF! and this is not clear from the images.Check the video provided for more clarity. It is very cleverly done, both sides of the pouch has a similar design, so it looks the same both inside out.There is no method to packing the bag, you can simply stuff it in, or fold it nicely, the pouch will hold it well. The chains are well built. There are lots of clips provided for extra support. There is also a reflective fabric on the sides, quite useful on hikes, i believe.The bag is quite spacious, has a separate laptop sleeve as well, however i definitely won’t recommend this for carrying gadgets. Since this bag is foldable, it is self explanatory, that the bag doesn’t have any padding.The fabric and chains seem sturdy apparently, yet to use it. Inside the bag, the lining seems to be some waterproof material, probably adds to it’s water resistance.I have been looking for a laptop backpack below 1000, and i stumbled on this, it is not suitable for carrying a laptop, but i am keeping this for the design and creativity.I initially got the blue color, but it’s not true to what’s displayed here. The blue color is much darker than what’s shown in the images, could call it navy blue. Have attached one image for reference.Later i got the wine color, that looks quite like the photos, and it looks good too. Sticking with it.Haven’t yet checked for it’s whater resistance capabilities. Will update if i notice anything significantly different from what’s claimed here.Would recommend this to be used as a lite backpack, for hike, carrying clothes for short trips. Not suitable for large gadgets. Small gadgets can be carried, given that they are cushioned all around, or have their own cases.

Not worth. Poor quality.
Used it for a trip and the straps are already torn. See attached photo.Zipper quality is also not that great.Updates: 3rd July 2025Received the bag after repair under warranty without any costs. Will add comments after usage if the straps tear again.Increased the star rating for good warranty service.

Not happy with TRIPOLEb product
Purchased with hope to use for my trekking trips…. unfortunately could not use it within days of return policy…after use found out that these stitches are coming off with not more than 2 kgs weight… strange to see that from this brand..

It’s a wrap with a foldable backpack!
The bag is very handy but the straps tear easily – would really appreciate it if it could be make a lil type sturdy – overall I’d recommend it
