This filter is compact, easy to clean, and quiet if set up right. It’s unfortunate, however, that it’s so fussy to set up properly the outflow bar is nice. You can set it underwater to push straight up or against the glass for no sound. Or you can set it above the water line for some nice fountain or running water sounds. I love that you can use your own durable filter media. You can throw in whatever you want or buy pre-cut foam. It’s easy to access and replace.Everything here is hard plastic press fit. You need to be gentle and get some water on the fittings for it not to crack or break while twisting around.

There should be zero rating for the product. Only after 20 days motor stops working. worst product.

Short life!
It worked good for 4 months and stopped working now. Checked with local vendor and he confirmed that it wont work and cannot be repaired.

Which filters is suitable for fishes?
It’s not good for plant aquarium (if it 60 to 70L) and small fish like slow fishes(guppy and platy etc) . For only fish tetra you go or fast moving fishes, otherwise fish will get stress for water pressure flow too much. For big fish it’s ok (above min120L. But still go for HOB or sponge filter it will better option for beginner.

Good product but needs high maintenance and watch
Very large for my tank. My tank is 1ft x 2ft x 2.5ft. (w*l*h).Have to control flow otherwise my fish cannot swim and gets stressed.Also after two months it keeps stopping. Have to clean it again and again and keep watch.But then I couldn’t find any better options than this one. This is submersible, takes less space. Helps fish hiding, doesn’t suck up fishes.
