    Good Kettle, suitable for all basic heating purposes

    This is a very effective kettle and heats in proper time. The cord length is also decent as well as it is heat resistant as in you will not get burnt if you hold it. it is a value for money instrument. Buy it with eyes closed if you are looking for a basic yet value for money kettle.

    The brand has kept the name

    Loved the kettle. It is spill proof and can hold 1.5 ltrs of hot water. The outer walls are insulated to protect from hot surface. Loved the built quality. Recommended

    Poor quality and Model not registered in India

    While the product is working fine so far but it has some serious drawbacks. The entire body inside and outside is made from plastic, only the heating element at the base inside the kettle is metal. This would lead to long term damage when cleaning the kettle from inside as plastic over the years would leach. The cord is very short also when trying to register the product for warranty using the QR code given it said the product is not sold in your country and cannot be registered. Which means that the seller is selling either a fake model or getting stuff from other countries and selling. Tried going on the Philips website to check the model, it is not available and not showing in the product list. Even if Philips is selling different products for Amazon and different for their own sales, the product should be registered which is not happening.

    Fantastic

    Very good built quality and it looks super premium.The double body layer ensures that it is not hot from outside which makes it super safe.The best feature is the auto cutoff as soon as water is hot.Quickly heats the water with very good speed.The cord and charger is of great quality with power plug and good cord length.Comes with a filter as well and is very easy to clean.Overall a fabulous product.

    good build

    comfortable to use. the handle is a good grip. the plastic body is cool touch even with the hot water.water gets to a boiling point very quickly even when kettle is completely filled.the kettle has a resting base which is not evident in the desription, photos or videos. i got this kettle thinking it was a standalone piece. but that is not a big deal.very good product so far.

    Heating Good, Design Meh…

    The kettle seems good performance wise – have used it twice so far as I received it a couple of days back.The reasons for two star less:One ⭐ – There is a white hue all over product like it was out in sun or something and some patches around bottom were very prominent.Another ⭐ – The kettle sort of floats on the bottom filament. It doesn’t make the contact with the base just sits on the elevated filament. Is it a manufacturing issue with my particular one or it’s supposed to be like this? Anyhow, it makes it a bit wobbly when you move it on or off the heating base.PS: I have used a similar one from Russell Hobbs which didn’t have these issues. But RH is double the price here than the Phillips compared to the UK. So I ordered this as I occasionally use it.
