I recently started using the Tata 1mg Clinically BP Monitor, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its performance. The device is easy to set up and use, making it ideal for home monitoring. The digital display is clear and easy to read, showing accurate blood pressure readings along with pulse rate.

Purchased this BP Monitor (Tata 1mg, Model: BP04) as it is mentioned to be “Clinically Validated”. Its accuracy is mentioned to be +/- 3mm Hg.BP measurements using this device in front of an experienced Physician/Doctor gave the following results:(1) “Tata 1mg BP04” BP measurements (two successive readings taken in presence of Doctor): 144/86 and 146/90 (Sys/Dia).(2) Doctor’s measurement (using clinical mercury based traditional BP measuring device immediately after above two measurments): 132/82 (Sys/Dia);As it can be seen, the readings are consistent but deviate on positive side by +12 to +14mm Hg (SYS) and +4 to +8mmHg(DIA).This exercise indicates that the accuracy of this BP device may vary on higher side up to 10 percent of the actual value as measured by the doctors using traditional mercury based BP monitor.It’s major advantage over other similar devices are: (1) Made in INDIA, (2) Type-C cable for powering the device, which is readily available, (3) Good built quality, (4) Consistant Readings during subsequent measurements.

This digital blood pressure monitor is a very good product. It’s easy to use and shows accurate readings every time. The display is clear, and the cuff fits comfortably. Highly recommended for home health monitoring!

Repetitive Systolic readings are different. Is it normal?
I have purchased two units within two months. First one was good and i purchased the second one for use at another place. However the second unit was defective with different readings on consecutive measurement. So I ordered and got a prompt replacement . In this unit, the diastolic pressure is ok, but there is a difference in systolic measurement on repetitive trials. The systolic reading has a difference of 9 on consecutive attempts. Anyway not opting for replacement
