London, Ont. It’s August 2025, smoke from Alberta fires has been here for 7 days. Feeling very unwell.Large Honeywell air purifier in the living room of tiny one bedroom apartment, also 10,000 BTU air conditioner going in living room.Not sure what to do to feel better.Bought this monitor to see if I could learn anything, the AQI was 109 in my bedroom, put the Honeywell purifier in there and within 15 minutes it was down to 35. Then living room count then went up to 90. Ordered a small Levoit Purifier for my bedroom. Large Honeywell purifier back in living, dining room.Ist / No idea what to do to feel better, 2nd / No idea if this would work with it being so affordable.I’ve had this for 3 days and my life has changed. This guides you to get the best air quality in your home.With the improved indoor air quality I feel stronger and can now walk my dog for 20 minutes at a time without the scratchy throat and fatigue.If you are reading these reviews you need to buy this monitor. The Portable Indoor Air Quality Monitor is a must-have for any home, especially if you have sensitive family members or a newborn baby/child.Reliable and Accurate: I compared this monitor to others, and it performs impressively well. The temperature readings are accurate within about 1 degree, and the humidity levels are off by just 3%. These small margins of error are perfectly acceptable for home use.Convenient Features: The detachable magnetic stand is a nice touch, making it easy to place and move around as needed. It’s a straightforward tool that provides peace of mind by helping you keep track of your indoor air quality.The battery lasts many days, even a couple of weeks in the 30 MODE, which is good for daily use.The only downside is that my magnet got off the stand and I can no longer hold it up straight.Overall, this monitor is a valuable addition to any home for maintaining a healthy environment.

July 5, 2023 So far this device seems to be working as it was designed. I’ve also purchased an air purifier (not being a fan of forest fire smoke) so it will be interesting to see how the two devices compare in terms of reading air quality. I’ll update this review when I have an answer.Update: July 28, 2023 As mentioned, the device seems to be working ok in terms of measuring air quality. However, the battery duration (life) seems problematic. For example, on the (A) smart algorithm setting it lasted less than two days although it was supposed to be good for twenty-eight!When I contacted the seller (excellent response time and good suggestions) the thought was that the algorithm was malfunctioning and the device should be return with another to be purchased.However, there are a couple of other options: first, choose a different setting – the (5) seems to work fine without undue battery draining or, second, keep the device plugged-in to a charging outlet.My final action was to return this air monitor (I haven’t yet reordered) and I returned the air purifier because replacement filters first became very expensive (1/3 increase within three weeks) and then became unavailable.Update: 16 August 2023 I reordered this monitor and it’s been working just fine. I’m now happy with my purchase. I’d recommend the monitor and the seller.

When the wildfires were raging on and the PM2.5 outside was very high, the pm2.5 readings seem accurate as particles will inevitable still get inside the house through window cracks and other openings. Now that the wildfires have subsided, It’s showing me sub 1.0 pm2.5 as I have air purifiers running everywhere indoors. When I was cleaning and kicking up a bit of a dust, the readings became elevated and gradually went back down as the air purifiers did their job. I don’t have another monitor to compare with, but it’s a good enough indicator to tell me how relatively clean the air is.

Odd readings. Or maybe just TOO sensitive. Run an air-purifier in family room – mostly at night as it is too noisy during the day. Monitor reports excellent air quality following morning.Go back an hour later – and it reports AQ so bad, that I must warped to Chernobyl! In the high ‘hundreds’!Iphone AQ app shows air quality in my area is excellent or very good. Yet monitor says otherwise. Returned. Ignorance is bliss.

***Update as of September 27th,The seller got back to me again and this time provided a replacement unit. Unfortunately, the air quality monitor reading was still not accurate or reliable on the second unit. The temperature and humidity were, but that wasn’t why I bought this product, I already have several reliable thermometers. I don’t know why both units were faulty (tested several different ways) but at least the seller attempted to rectify these issues. One extra star for effort😏, but not for the actual product.😕…….***Update as of Sept.18/23…..The seller finally got back to me but only provided a repeat of all the trouble- shooting steps that I had already tried.Also told me I could get a refund if I wanted one.😏 Duh!!! Of course Amazon gave me a refund for a defective item, nothing new there. IF the seller had offered to send a free replacement item with no strings attached after all the delays etc…, I would have given them another try. But after waiting TOO long for even a response to my first email and the unit being a dud, I don’t plan to waste anymore of my time on this.😕Not a good experience or transaction OR impression of this seller either.😕…….My previous/initial review,Unfortunately, the unit I received didn’t work accurately or as expected.To check how it was functioning, I put the unit outside on a balcony, on a smokey day, here in Alberta. After a half hour, the reading was still in the Good zone, at 15 AQI, the same as indoors with an air purifier running! Obviously, that wasn’t correct.I DID contact the seller about this issue but so far , no response.😕 I would have given them another try, this could just be one defective unit. But again, no response to date. Will update if they do get back to me soon.In the meantime, my search for a RELIABLE, reasonably priced air monitor continues….

No Day But Today –
** first review** It was fine until Christmas and then it literally just went haywire. The numbers were reading perfectly when we had it near the air cleaner.It would read 0.1 and 1 which was great. Now it reads 94 and 612 which means we should be dead. So that means we only got 5 months of use out of it before it died. I’m not even able to reach out to the company to let them know and of course it’s way past the window of return. So disappointed and what a scam.**Update** we tried to buy a new one two weeks ago and it wouldn’t hold a charge so I sent it back and received a refund. The company seeing THIS review “offered” me a refund for the new one instead of the one that’s broken! The one that I just bought recently was still within the return window so of course I got my money back for it.The one that I wanted my money back for was the one I ORIGINALLY bought in 2024 that crapped out after only a few months. The only thing they offered me was a new one (that I didn’t want because they obviously don’t work).Nice enough people but English isn’t their first language and they aren’t understanding the situation when all I wanted was my money back for the original one. I was even happy to return it to them but they didn’t want that either.So now I have two of them that don’t work and I’m still out my 45 bucks.Not happy.

Easy setup, can easily move to any room, large displayThe numbers for AQI and PM2.5 were alarming enough that I’ve ordered 2 airpurifiers which I’m hoping will improve our indoor air quality. No reason to believe they’re not accurate as the temp and RH readings are in line with other monitors i have in the house. AP’s arrive short so will begin to see improvements soon🤞🏻🤞🏻

Customer service was great and explained to me the details around the device.The only time I was able to get it to react was lighting and blowing out a candle, which I can see the smoke. Not sure if it is defective or not, I tried to test it with my Airthing + Winix Airpurifer and they both picked up something before this did.So I honestly not sure what this would be used for in terms of air quality monitoring indoors? My original plan was to put it in a room of 3D Printers, but I didn’t see anything change.
