I have been using the LAVNA Smart Door Lock for the past 10-15 days, and so far, it’s been a great experience. I have registered 4 family members’ fingerprints, and the fingerprint sensor works quickly and accurately. The mobile app access is smooth, and the key option is a good backup.One of the best things about this lock is that it is Made in India, which makes it even better! The build quality feels premium, and installation was quite simple. However, I haven’t experienced their after-sales service yet, so I’m waiting to see how it performs in the long run, especially after 1-2 years.Overall, it’s a great smart lock with easy access and reliable security. If the after-sales service is good, this will be a perfect choice! 💯🔒

Third class product and customer support.
Third class cheap product. No security. Lock getting open as such. No help yet from customer service. Regretting my decision. Must go with branded locks.

Lock is good…. self installation is challenging
Go for company installation service…lock is nice and meets all requirement…self installation needs remote support from company else not possible … product is working well after installation..The only issue is there is a public switch behind the lock which when pressed, make the lock public(always open) mode. Every now and then small kids while walking out, press that button and make the lock public without even our knowledge…while you might be sleeping inside, thinking lock is closed, it might be actually open. surprisingly, the company has no solution to disable public mode. The button should not be so upfront and easy to click.

Very useful especially for couple working, children entering multiple times. 1 bell sound & opening & closing is irritating. made life easy. looks simple & elegant. locks immediately. initially there was problems with battery due to issue in PCB & battery connector. company sent other PCB, I’ve replaced it. now no problem. going well. so highly recommended for multiple ppl in house & children in house. can open with power bank if battery drained off also can open with phone app with Bluetooth.

Give me back my door..take your lock back
Worst smart lock ever bought. No user manual, the manufacturer doesn’t help with suppprt material. No USB port as advertised..though there’s a hole for it! Somehow it doesn’t show up so cannot be paired to the phone…so no setup possible.Tried resetting, still doesn’t work… now I have ruined my perfectly good teak door for a stupid lock which doesn’t work.

Fixing problem
Installed and working. Mentioned for door width 30-50mm. It was a bit loose. So tried to reduce the length of 2 female threaded rods connecting the 2 plates, then 👎. The rods don’t have full threads, so I had to make modified rods. Never expected this after buying a costly item. Otherwise working perfectly.

Deteriorated product and service
Useless, unreliable lock. Poor customer service. I had their old model lock for last two years. Two years back lock was good, customer service was excellent. Now after two years having some problems with old lock decided to change. The new lock is same with square base instead of round. Worst is bolt plate is smaller hence you can not install yourself and will need carpenter. Instead of electromagnetic bolt they have changed it to motorised lock therefore one has to wait for a while before turning the handle. Now coming to worst part, inside handle at the thumb portion they have provided a small button which if pressed unlocks the lock till it is deactivated again. Hence anybody resident or a guest while leaving home ny mistake presses this button that means he has kept the lock open for everyone. 10% of times lovk doesn’t open even with authorised finger. It says open but the bolt doesn’t engage. This is disastrous, hence it is totally unreliable, one has to carry key always, purpose of biometric lick is defeated. Customer care has become too complacent not bothered. Just not wanting to resolve problem, want video for everything, just imagine for 10% of unreliability one has to be ready to take video . Disgusting.
