10 reviews for Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, with Innovative AI Features, Bluetooth Truly Wireless in Ear Earbuds with Noise Cancellation (Bora Purple)

Writing this review after a week of regular usage.Pros:• Super value for money, got these for less than 6.5K in big billion day sale. You could get these for 7.5K with bank offers now (as of 20th Oct 2023).• Galaxy buds 2 pro have good sound quality only behind Pixel buds pro by very little margin.• Features available are Good for my Galaxy S23 Ultra.• ANC is good. Good noise isolation.• Transparency mode is my favorite. You sometimes forget that you have these plugged into your ears.• Design is quite nice, fits perfectly into my ears.• If you are in Samsung ecosystem like laptop and mobile, then these buds can be switched to either of the devices easily.• 360° sound is alright, head tracking is a decent option I suppose.• Bluetooth 5.3 means we could listen to music over BLE in the future• Crystal Clear call quality. And it’s quite stable. Something I can’t say about my Pixel Buds proCons:• Battery life could have been better, giving listening time of around 4 to 5 hours while the case is rated for approximately 20 hours. My Pixel Buds pro provide 7 to 8 hours of listening time.• Many of the features are not available for non Samsung phones, like 360° sound and head tracking. Same is the case with Pixel Buds pro, their features like 360° sound is not available in non Pixel phones.• Multipoint connection is missing for non Samsung Laptop. My Pixel Buds pro can connect to 2 devices at a time.• Voice detect feature will only lower the volume of the audio you’re listening but not pause. Samsung should provide an option for the same in future updates.Verdict:This one’s a 4 star if you are paying 15K for these, increase your budget and go for Sony’s Wf-1000xm5 or Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II.But 5 star for the price I got it for.

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with these earbuds.Sound Quality (5/5):The audio quality is exceptional. The sound is crisp, clear, and has a well-balanced bass. Whether I’m listening to music, watching videos, or taking calls, the Buds 2 Pro deliver an immersive audio experience.Active Noise Cancellation (5/5):The active noise cancellation feature works like a charm. It effectively blocks out ambient noise, allowing me to enjoy my music without distractions. It’s a game-changer for my daily commute and when working in noisy environments.Comfort (5/5):These earbuds are incredibly comfortable, even during long listening sessions. They fit snugly in my ears, and I never worry about them falling out. Samsung provides various ear tip options to ensure a perfect fit for everyone.Battery Life (5/5)The battery life is impressive. I can easily get through a full day of use with both the earbuds and the charging case. It’s a relief not to constantly worry about charging them.Connectivity (5/5):Pairing and connecting to my Samsung device is seamless. The connection is stable, and I experience minimal dropouts. Plus, the Auto Switch feature is handy when switching between multiple devices.Design (4/5):The earbuds have a sleek and modern design. They’re small and discreet, making them easy to wear without drawing too much attention. However, the glossy finish can be a fingerprint magnet, which is a minor drawback.Voice Assistant Integration (5/5):The integration with Bixby or other voice assistants is smooth and responsive. It’s convenient to control music or make calls using voice commands. In summary, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are a remarkable upgrade that delivers excellent sound quality, top-notch noise cancellation, and comfort for extended use. Whether you’re a music enthusiast or need reliable earbuds for calls and productivity, these earbuds won’t disappoint. My friends Amaranth AJ, Govind S, Bilal also tried these earbuds and they were really impressed with the buds. I personally will choose this earbuds to be the best earbuds that I have ever used till now. I will suggest anyone who wish to buy this product without any second thoughts.

The media could not be loaded. So I’ve been using these bad boys for over 45 days now and the only outcome is:THESE ARE FREAKING AMAZING.I was going to go with the original Buds Pro but the Amazon Diwali sale made these available at 10,490 and that’s a steal.Pros:• BORA PURPLEEE (It’s a head Turner, looks like a Mentos in your ear XD).• Excellent sound quality of the box• VERY Lightweight earbuds. I often forget I’m wearing them.• Quite comfortable to wear while lying down (I sleep with them in, need that ambience heh).• Active Noise Cancelling is just *chef’s kiss*. Only competetor is AirPods Pros.• Battery Life (even with ANC on) is pretty damn decent.• Mic pick-up is AMAZING. I took a LOT of calls and even WhatsApp and Discord calls and these always make people go “What do you mean you’re on a TWS Earbuds?!?”• Ambient mode is AWESOMEEEE. You can overhear what people are saying in the next room. Almost an Ear Aid (I guess?)• Case has a very satisfying feeling soft plastic (it’s almost therapeutic for me)• The case charge time, closing thump and overall build quality of both case and earbuds are top tier.• Does NOT pause the music when you take one earbud out but does change to Ambient mode ( a Pro for me, might be a Con for some).• In-ear detection is VERY Precise.Pros (after installing the Samsung Wearables app):• 360° Audio (more of a gimmick, honestly, but does makes you’re friends go WOW).• Equalizer (but only presets, no manual 🥲)• Quality of Life additions to your Buds 2 Pro like In-ear detection for calls• Samsung Seamless connection to multiple Samsung devices• Labs Features like Volume adjustment directly on buds (it needs getting used to) and Gaming mode (haven’t really tried but it decreases latency I guess?)• Firmware updates (I’ve only received one yet, but it did make the behaviour of the device better).Pros (for Samsung devices only) (I also own a Samsung A52s)• Samsung’s superior Scalable codec• 24-bit audio (it’s noticeable but you need to have a good ear and download FLAC or uncompressed audio since Deezer isn’t a thing in India). But honestly, even normal lossy audio source like Spotify sounds great.• Quick connect as soon as you open the case (like AirPods). Nothing major but just makes life simple.• Saves all your Samsung Wearables app settings to your Samsung account in case you change devices.Cons:• Case battery life isn’t all that great. You’d be charging it more than once a week.• ANC DOES significantly affect your battery life. Don’t use it if you don’t need it since it affects music as well.• For something of this budget, I’d expect full manual Equalizer for more knowing customers. That’s about it, really.Honestly, the only competition to these bad boys are the Sony WF-1000XM4, but they easily lose out on creature comforts like quick connect and other Quality of Life stuff like Samusng can provide with their ecosystem approach.Best part about Samsung ecosystem is you get all the benefits of an ecosystem (like Apple) but also get the open-ness of a platform like Android, so you’re not stuck like you would be with Apple. That includes the ability to use Samsung Buds 2 Pro on iOS and MacBook devices, and since it saves it’s settings ON the earbuds, you can update and change settings on an android phone with Samsung Wearables app and then use it on your iOS/Mac device with same settings.Final verdict:Don’t think, just buy these.ESPECIALLY if you can score them for lower than 12k, they’re easily better than the non-Pro AirPods and everything else in the price range

I purchased it one month ago and using them continuously since then.I am very satisfy with the performance of buds. I was used Samsung buds pro before it and feel that these buds are a good upgrade.Sound and call quality is awesome i am not a music listener but listen songs randomly and i feel that sound quality is perfect. For mobile call these buds are quite sensitive you can hear your voice on call even if your are whispering. I am very satisfy with the call quality. For battery i easily get almost a full day with it with moderate call, some music and some vedio watching. If you use heavily you need a mid day charge.Quite light and fit in ears very perfectly and comfortably. These are feel very light and comfort in comperisson of buds pro.Overall i am very happy with these buds performance. I purchased them on sale at the price 8k and defiantly recommended at that price.

It’s been 4 days now and I thought of giving a nice feedback. The music experience has been so amazing and wonderful. This is the first time I’m using TWS with ANC enabled. I bought this on Great India Festival sale in 2023 for 7300 rs and it was a steal deal.ANC: It totally restricts external noise but the sharp voice when someone suddenly starts speaking to you can’t be restricted and that surpasses the restriction. As this was the first time I was using ANC, I was pretty much amazed how wonderful this tech is. It totally gives the right feel when listening to music and I don’t think that I’ll ever want non-ANC featured earphones/headphones anymore. After using these buds for 1 month, I can argue that sometimes the ANC feature doesn’t work as good as the other times.Touch control: these buds have so many features but I struggle hard when I’ve enabled double tap for both changing the music and controlling volume. Controlling volume is difficult to perform sometimes. You get an app for controlling them with a widget on your homescreen to turn off ANC and touch control and that widget is extremely helpful and needed app. Pixel buds have swipe gesture to control volume, maybe that feature will increase battery consumption more but it’s more convenient than tapping. My worst experience was with volume control on these earbuds and I had to turn that feature off because this doesn’t work satisfactorily.Battery: With ANC enabled, I get around 4 hours of backup on buds and my case battery lasts for 2+ days. It doesn’t take much time to charge. With ANC disabled I can use buds for 5+ hours.Connectivity: I can use these buds on laptop and all my phones but not at the same time. if these are connected to one device, you’ll have to disconnect to pair with other device. But it’s not a big issue. You won’t struggle with connectivity. Most of my devices are very old and they connect seamlessly.24 bit and 360 degree audio: Not available for all devices, only work on samsung phones with latest ONEUI. These additional feautres are why these are costly. I don’t find these features useful at all — feel more like gimmicks to me. 360° audio is terrific, I haven’t tested much but I guess you won’t find this feature on any other TWS. If you don’t require these features, you can go for buds2 if you don’t have a budget.Sound quality and bass: Sound and bass both are clear and balanced. You can hear details of every instrument clearly. The quality of sound is amazing and I have personally never had this experience with other earphones before.Size, fitting and appearance: I don’t know why some people criticize it for being too bulky, It’s not really a big deal and easily fits in the pocket. Buds are great but you can’t wear them for long time, they hurt ears if you keep wearing them for 3+ hours.I can rate each feature individually now:ANC: 8/10Sound Quality: 9/10Touch control: 7/10Fit and finish: 8/10Connectivity with different devices: 10/10Battery: 9/10

This will be an unbiased review. Its an original and unused product. Atleast in my case it is. Not sure what others got from the negative reviews. Paired it with spigen case and nitize biner as seen in the pictures. Its been two days since I’m using them with my S23 phone. I can honestly say for the price I paid, 8.5k on the sale, it’s the best for my samsung phone. I could’ve imported the anker liberty 4 nc but they would be a bit expensive and wouldn’t even get proper support if anything went south.Sound: as a DJ, I can confirm that these sound great for wireless buds. The bass, mids and highs are well balanced at normal eq. You can tweak it to your liking if needed as well. Added advantage of 24bit audio support. Overall sound wise, you won’t be dissapointed.Calls: call quality is good on these. I’ve tested and asked people for their opinion and people can hear my clearly. I’ve got a bass voice so it’s great that low frequencies are picked up well cuz I’ve read reviews of other buds not doing well with certain voice frequencies.ANC: noise cancellation is good, not great. Works for normal environment to cancel loud fans, ac, generator etc while testing..Ambient sound: Awesome transparency on these. Very rarely do I find some muddy floor in this mode but goes away quick, not sure why but happens. Not a big deal for me. You can increase the transparency even more if needed in ambient mode settings. To my needs, the normal setting is fine.Fit: it’s been two days using this and it hurts my ears eveb after just 30 minutes of usage. I was so used to using airpods for the longest time amd this is my first switch to android after a decade of using iPhones. Im gonna trust the process and let my ears get used to it as I’ve heard other people online say it worked for them after continously using. Fingers crossed!!!Battery: Battery life is decent for my usage. Moving from the airpods, I can say that they drain faster but also charge fast as well. Im a moderate user so it lasts days for me.Features: if youre using a samsung phone, it’s gonna integrate really well and you will be able to use the benefit of tracking them, gestures, etc etc..Final verdict: it’s a great buy on discount. I wouldn’t buy it at full price and if your ears are used to normal in ear earphones, these will take sometime to get used to. If you have migraine issues and sensitive ears and if they don’t fit well, it could trigger ur migraine, be aware of this.. hope this review helps someone.Edit: it’s been two weeks and the pain is gone. My ears have adjusted to the earbuds and dont fatigue anymore. Love them.. its unmatched product for a samsung phone.

If you are a Samsung smartphone user then it’s really a bliss.I have Samsung Ultra, Watch4 and these Galaxy Buds.😎Literally everything works so smooth and best you can’t even imagine. Kudos to Samsung Ecosystem.🔥You can dial a number using watch or phone then talk on the Buds itself without looking at the phone. Some pros of these buds:1. Speech to pause features, which is great to have so whenever you are speaking it will pause the media and you can talk freely while enabling the transparency mode.2. Customised touch features can help you better customise your earbud’s experience.3. Wireless charging is also a great feature where you can put and forget your buds – I have a smart wireless charger (can be seen on my YouTube: frikimayank) which turns off once the buds are fully charged.4. Auto device shifting between Samsung devices so I have Samsung Tab also and these buds can shift their connection to any of your Samsung device as soon as you grab them to work.5. Battery backup is good for me around 6H on ANC.SOUND QUALITY:These are the only Samsung buds made for everyone, means it has Bass, Treble and mids all well balanced. You can feel the 24bit audio clarity when paired with a Samsung device. Samsung uses their own codec to deliver this. And difference is insane compared to other earbuds out there in the Market.Mic Quality:I don’t like this much, why? Until I’m using one earbud call clarity seems good to other side person but once you have put both the buds (which is needed in a noisy area for own clarity) the mic quality degrades and reception person gets more noise than your voice.CONS:1. Sometimes doesn’t fit to my ears, starts loosing after 1-2H, maybe design or ear defect😀2. No dual device connectivity, Samsung should give this in a premium earbuds like these3. No useful gaming mode – although there is a low latency mode but that can’t be used for gaming as latency is very high4. No parametric EQ settings as available on Sony or Jabra or Realme devices.5. Battery life is fine but not great with the case6. Some features are exclusive to Samsung Users only which I’m so not problem for me.Hope it helps 🤞🏻ThanksYouTube: frikimayankWebsite: frikimayank.com

Coming from cheaper realme buds air 3. Instance notices I got was…Pros- Fits better. Sometimes I forget to put it in the case and I fall asleep.- Crystal clear sound. It’s not a bassy headphone. It is a balanced one.- NC is easier to ears. Unlike Realme which felt like earplugs. Galaxy Buds 2 Pro felt more natural and was way smarter with selective noise cancelation. The ambient mode works like magic. It knows what speech is. it lets pass through speech with ease in ambient mode even during high volumes. Saved me a lot of scolding from my parents during dinner. But if I compare the NC strength, Realme wins. No doubt Realme was stronger. But Samsung one is much more comfortable.- I also use over ear headphone HD 4.50 BT NC. Which costs 7.5k and is wayy better sounding than Samsung Buds 2 pro. Though it wasn’t a fare comparison, I felt like mentioning it.

If you are using a Samsung phone trust me you got the best connectivity and audio possible, then the features such as tap on the ear, neck stretch remainder, the Samsung Seamless Codec should be appreciated oh my God there’s no damn lag, I charge this thing while charging my phone through USB-C and earbuds using wireless charging everything works very fine, the one thing I thought should be improved is the noise cancellation, about that we had expected a Bose level Noise cancellation, it’s okay, we would like to have a feature of customisation of noises like other major brands offer like you could mute the announcements, or the talking of people, or the honking or whatever(just referenced from Sony), then the fit is okay with me and everything is nice and if you are sweaty it might get some loose, that happens with every other buds, totally a normal thing. Overall I would recommend with a 9.6/10 rating
