⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Value for Money!
I recently bought the TP-Link Tapo C200, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. For such an affordable price, it delivers features that even higher-priced cameras don’t offer. The video quality is great, the night vision works flawlessly, and motion detection is super responsive.The setup was simple, and the mobile app makes it very convenient to monitor everything remotely. The camera can rotate and cover almost the entire room, which is perfect for home security.Honestly, it’s one of the best budget-friendly IP cameras I’ve come across. If you’re looking for a cheap yet highly effective security solution, this is it. I absolutely love it!

Excellent Camera. Highly Effective.
I have bought 6 TP Link Tapo cameras (different models) for my house. Even though these are supposedly indoor cameras, I am using them on the outside of the house. They are excellent. The TAPO app allows me to monitor them within one app. The app itself has plenty of features. You can set what you want each individual camera to detect (motion, person, baby crying). You can set the exact area of the image you want it to monitor and which area you want it to ignore. On the C200, you can also pan, tilt, patrol using the app. You can change the resolution of the recording depending on your internet speed. You can also change the motion sensitivity of each camera. The cameras come with a slot for a micro SD card. When the card is full it automatically overwrites the oldest recordings. There is also a brilliant cloud storage feature. Currently I am on the free trial and find it quite useful, though it’s not a necessity if you are using the micro sd storage.Some areas for improvement. Just my suggestions:1. Stronger WiFi connectivity. On the lower end models like the C100, the WiFi pickup range is lower than the C200 so I am having to use WiFi extenders.2. Ability to switch WiFi network. In the TAPO app, it would be helpful if we could log in to the camera and switch it to a different WiFi network if and when needed. Unfortunately, now, once it’s set up with a given network, and if you want to switch it to a different one, you have to reset the whole camera and set it up again.3. Multicamera simultaneous monitoring. As I have 6 cameras installed, I missed the ability to view all 6 feeds at the same time. It would be great if this feature could be built into the TAPO app. Currently, you can only view 4 cameras at a time.4. Casting – When playing back a feed or a recording, it will be helpful to include a casting feature that will enable users to cast the video to a smart TV if we want to view it on a larger screen.5. Bitrate / compression selection – currently, you cannot alter the recording bitrate of the videos, only the resolution. It will be helpful to have this feature in case we need to capture more detail for certain angles.6. Internal battery backup – nowadays, the smallest of devices have an internal rechargeable battery to keep them running. It would be helpful for these cameras to have an internal battery that can at least run them for an hour or two in case there is a power cut or an intruder cuts the wire.Overall, a solid line of products and very affordable as well. I hope there are more features rolled out via firmware upgrades and app updates.

How can a product be so perfect?
I love this product, its indeed the best highend home camera you can find. The quality is top knotch, 2k QHD is having super high quality, the night vision is insane, even in pitch dark its so detailed. The alarm mode when any person is detected is so good. The different detections such as motion, person, sound, pet, baby etc using ai is working so good. No flaws at all, the microphone is another banger you could literally listen every sound and voice with clarity. Automatic recording when motion detected when sd card is inserted is another nice feature. Its got both rotate side and rotate top controls. Its got a ceiling mount and the camera got HDR viewing so outdoor bright conditions are also well managed. Its got 720p 2k and 2k qhd selection menu. When hdr enabled it can get hot. But sometimes you can enable and disable too. Even without hdr its super good. I’m 1000 percent satisfied with this device. Its got device sharing option to share the device viewing and control. I take the main control but my dad doesn’t know any features but he just wants to monitor so there is this email connection of your device with multiple accounts that are registered with tapo.Overall verdict worth every penny for such a very imp product in house.

Best security camera at this price range
All good with the Tapo security camera. Here’s the benefits offered:Pro’s:1. Build quality is good. The plastic material is sturdy and durable. It won’t break or crack if it falls from hands mistakenly.2. Packaging is innovative and comes in a compact box pack. It comes with a User manual, 2 screws, power adapter and the camera itself.3. Functionality of the camera is excellent. I would rate it 10/10. The app experience is quite good. From the point of setting up the camera to overall viewing experience, the app guides you very smoothly. Anyone can easily setup the camera at the first instance. The camera has good footage storage facility. It supports loop recording feature where it deletes old footage upon storing new footages.4. Video quality is too good considering a 2MP camera. Don’t expect ultra-HD footage at this camera. However a decent video can be expected and everything you need to see will be visible clearly. Faces of persons are also easily understandable with proper timestamp. I have attached images for your reference. The night viewing experience is also superb.5. Coverage is great. It covers an entire room/hall from top to bottom, right to left everywhere. You can use the Pan/Tilt functionality in the app to control the movement of the inbuilt motor and the camera. You can setup up to 8 Viewrooms at different angles based on your requirements.6. From a security perspective, the camera can be trusted. You can control the camera remotely as well as locally. However you need a stable internet connection for all these usages.I have purchased this product during Great Freedom Festival at a price of ₹1386. I purchased this camera alongwith Sandisk 64GB 140MB/s.

Slow and laggy camera
Okay-ish camera. The mounting bracket broke and hence it can’t be mounted to a wall now. The app is really good but there is a significant lag when showing recorded videos. Also there is either the 3MP 5K video mode or the 360p. There is no 1080p mode that is bandwidth optimized. The processor is weak. When set to record everything, the camera stalls when watching a live video.

Great Cam, worth 4 Big Stars .. but just that ..
Reviewing this product after 3+ years of use. My first purchase was in June 2020 for ₹2,499, repeat in June 2021 for ₹2,199. Price is at par with other worthy competitors. A couple of my contacts using other brands appreciated that I have TP-Link. Consider it a great bargain if you find better price.(Update: Summer 2024, both cameras working fine 👍🏼)Here are some Great Features, along with my take:💫 Super Easy Setup (just had to mention WiFi credentials in the tapo app)💫 Sufficiently Long Adaptor Cable (though I did have to further extend it), Very neat and compact Wall/Ceiling Mount with Camera being Detachable💫 Great Quality Pic/Vids, same as rated (though it can be decreased in the tapo viewer app for streaming efficiency, keeping the recording resolution high)💫 Flawless Motion Detection (though I had to disable it due to too many alerts). SD storage can be saved tremendously if enabled only during motion detection (though I am more comfortable with unconditional recording)💫 Uninterrupted Recording in the SD Card, whether your WiFi goes down resulting in no-view in your viewing device💫 Good Night Vision💫 Auto-Reboot (optional) functionality provided, probably to stabilize the camera’s server, in user defined 15-minute window💫 Firmware updates provided by TP-Link whenever available💫 Tapo app is very smooth and well thought of with Pan/Tilt controls, mic/speaker control, two-finger zooming, multi camera/room support, pause recording (privacy mode), manual reboot, SD formatting, easy recording time-range defining by week days, disabling the camera green-LED – just to name the primary features✅ To complete the review, and to be fair, some prominent shortcomings must be mentioned – in a hope that TP-Link eventually provides us firmware/app updates, whenever possible. These are such observations:🥀 No app interaction for 5-minutes results in switching OFF of the view with this message, as shown in the attached pic. It is a major problem for people working in, say, kitchen-sink, and every 5-minutes, one has to wash and dry the hands to press CONTINUE🥀 Tap to Refresh message, as shown in the attached pic. comes up each time the WiFi’s internet is disabled for, may be, 30-seconds or more (just a guess). Again a problem for a person having hands occupied and having eyes on the display🥀 No FireTV Support Yet. Now that FireTV is picking up a good portion of the market share, but searching for tapo app in the FireTV apps results in a 3rd party app. Why would anybody provide private Camera credentials to such an app?🥀 Streaming on Monitor is Unreliable. Meaning, if you would like to have camera view on your PC/Mac/Linux monitor, you can provide a URL (with Camera credentials) to any Streaming-Video viewer (example VLC). But after 30-60 minutes or so, I have experienced that the view goes blank/distorted, and link needs to be re-established🥀 Audio Listening Quality is Pathetic, not taking about subject’s whispering, even normal talks are very difficult to make out. It could be cost factor, as sensitive microphones do exist, but those must be expensiveFor the above reasons, 1-star needs to be withheld, and this product rightly deserves 4-big stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Does the job, easy to use
This camera is easy to install and the official app is easy to navigate.It records high quality videos with functions like motion detection and person detection.It has been useful for thefts and really bad actors around my house.The camera stores the videos in a memory card or the cloud storage which the company offers on a subscription basis.In my opinion the storage is where the company makes most of its money because if I purchase a memory card the product has to refresh it every mornth but cloud storage stays there.Also I couldn’t understand the need for an internet conenction if I am using a memory card. I have installed the camera outside of my house and from there the range of the internet comes and goes and the camera just starts showing this red icon. I know it can’t connect to the internet but it has the memory card for storing information so why is it complaining about the internet ?Also I had to swtich off the notification triggers from the app settings because it just constantly gave me notification everytime someone was there outside our door even an insect ! I found that unnecessary.Rest I would say it is a perfect product

Product is good ,but packaging was damage having two holes in uper polithne,handling is not good i ask dilivery person he saidit is normal but amazon policy is not accept if packge is damage so another time i will not accept the delivery if package is damaged.so take care of proper handling in future.
