Frame thickness and feel is very light. Metal frame tag is what made me buy it but the quality is iffy and very flimsy, so is the glass which is plastic. Advantage is that it is very lightweight and frame color is also very good shade not overly gold. For the price it is great but will not last if you are buying for frequent use. Fast shipping and returns by Amazon. Excellent
